Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day is almost here! Do you believe it? My husband usually buys me roses, and I love that, but this year I told him to save the money. I'm trying to cut costs around here a little bit and do without some of the more frivolous things! We will have 2 in college next year (Jeremy just got accepted to Radford University - hurray!), and with the hits the college funds have taken recently, I feel the need to focus more on the "needs" than the "wants". However, that being said, we are going out to dinner tonight, just the 2 of us. (We very rarely do this!) I know, it's not really V-Day yet, but we old fogies prefer to go when there are no crowds, plus this was the only night this week that one of us wasn't busy! So Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!

Okay, down to business...

I borrowed the design of this card from one I received in a swap at Leadership. It's so simple, but I love the use of the different colors, and the overlapping of the card stock. The stamp set I used is called "Best Wishes and More", and it's great for all seasons. I like the greeting - "couldn't do without you", and in my mind, it works for your signigicant other, or even a close friend!

This little candy holder was done by Eloise, who is in my downline. She used the Love You Much stamp set for all the embellishments, and punched out the center with the Scallop Circle punch. This would be quick and easy for a class gift, and is perfect for that little bit of chocolate!
