Elegant Rose

When my customers were making this card, quite a few of them mentioned how perfect it would be for their aunt or grandmother. I hadn't looked at it that way before, but I guess it does have a more nostalgic look to it.


It actually uses 3 retiring stamp sets: Wild Rose, Weathered background, and It's Your Birthday. The rose is a 2 step stamp (and so are the leaves, but we only used one step on this card!). When using a 2 step stamp, you stamp the bold image first with the lighter color. Then you add the outline image over the top with the darker color. This is a great time to get out your Stamp-a-ma-jig too, especially if you are a perfectionist!
