At my monthly Stamp Camp this month, we made flower petals using the Round Tab Punch! We did this at my upline's meeting, and I'm pretty sure she saw the idea on a blog. So thank you to the original designer - you are so clever (whoever you are)! And once again, I CASE'd the idea!
And it's so darn easy! We used the Porcelain Prints Designer Paper, and just punched 5 times with the Round Tab Punch. Then you fold the pieces in half to create the flower petals. For the center piece, we used Seeing Spots, punched and layered it, and attached with a dimensional. I gave everyone the choice of doing the white background flower, as seen above, or the blue background, as seen below. I can't decide which is my favorite! The stem is just made with a narrow strip of card stock, attach that first, then add the flower center. It's then easier to figure out placement of the petals. You attach just the bottom half of the punched piece, so the top half sticks up to form the petal.
