Here is an adorable baby card, very quick and easy, using a lot of punches! Cut your card stock in half (lengthwise) and fold in half. Stamp the front with a background stamp. To make the sleeves, measure down from the top 1 1/4", and then in 1/2". Draw a line from that spot down to the bottom corner on both sides. Before cutting on the line you just drew, punch out the leg holes with a 1 3/8" circle punch. That way you'll be able to see where to punch. Punch out the neck hole with the same punch. To make the lace, first punch out a 1 3/8" circle, then punch around it with the Scallop Circle punch. Lay your "lace frame" over the leg and neck openings, attaching with a little glue, then trim off the excess. You may also want to trim out a little bit in the leg hole area. And that's it!
Oh Baby!
One of my good customers, Karen, showed me this idea, and I just tweaked it a little bit. She had brought a bunch of samples that she made, using different colors and stamps, adding dots to the lace, and even putting eyelets at the bottom for snaps! The possibilities are endless, and so much fun!
