More Christmas cards, finally! Where do the days go? This card is made with the Season of Joy stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog, using Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi. It is CASE'd, of course! I saw it originally at my upline's meeting and fell in love with it! I think Purely Pomegranate is my new favorite color!
I always like to do a snowflake card. This uses the Snowfall stamp set, plus 2 of the new "In Color" colors, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou. What's really fun about it is the small snowflake in the middle is made by punching it out with the Snow Blossom punch, and then there is a little bling in th middle - an Ice Rhinestone brad. Those brads are awesome, and the colors are so pretty!
Now this card still needs to grow on me. I'm not too sure about this stamp, maybe it's a little too busy for my taste! It was very easy, though, and for my class I wanted to show all sorts of styles, as well as cards that were quick. This one fit the bill! We used a custom made Spectrum pad (Green Galore, Glorious Green, Handsome Hunter, Bravo Burgundy, and Real Red). Did you know you could do that? Stampin' Up! sells empty Spectrum pads, so you can create any color combo that you'd like. One tip before actually inking up the pad is to test the color line-up with markers to see if you like it. Just draw the colors in line, as if they were on the pad, and that should give you an idea of how they'll look when inked!
